Refund policy

Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition you received it — uninstalled, undamaged, and in its original packaging where possible.

To initiate a return, contact us through our Contact page with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return shipping instructions. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or was sent in error.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

90-Day Warranty

All modules sold by Auto Attic come with a 90-day warranty covering manufacturer defects and functionality failures under normal use. If a unit fails within 90 days of purchase, contact us and we will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper installation
  • Damage caused by programming errors or incorrect VIN programming
  • Physical damage, water damage, or evidence of tampering
  • Units returned more than 90 days after purchase

Programming Notice

Most OEM ECUs and control modules require programming or relearning after installation. This is not a defect and does not qualify for a return or warranty claim. Programming requirements are disclosed on each product listing. If you are unsure whether a unit requires programming before purchasing, please contact us — we are happy to advise.

Non-Returnable Items

Items that show evidence of installation, damage, or modification after delivery are not eligible for return.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original and place a new order once the return is approved.
